A Pixel 6 update for March 2022 is about to be released to owners who have been patient. Keeping up with the release schedule, the February 2022 security patch is the first monthly update since the phones launched.
Unfortunately, all previous generation Pixel phones, except for the Pixel 6 series, got the update on time with the Android 12L-based March 2022 Feature Drop.
While the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will get the update on March 21 from Fido, the Canadian carrier. Since Google pushed out the build to all Pixel devices, this date has been gliding around a couple of times, but this time we have seen something promising like the official statement.
Since the Pixel 6 launched, several of its monthly updates have been delayed. The December update had been pulled by Google due to connectivity problems with some carriers, and the ensuing February patch that for some users has raised some weird Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
Moreover, with this update, several new features will arrive like the battery widget will be accessible, At a Glance will be enhanced, and live captions will be added to calls.
Earlier this week, Google delivered Snapchat Night Sight to Pixel 6. The feature is available on the Galaxy S22 series as well as other Pixel phones that received the March 2022 update.
While the Pixel 6 series has already started receiving some of the updates that are not tied to the Pixel 6 release. Although the Pixel 6 family is one of the best Android smartphones, the launch hasn’t gone smoothly. The devices have had numerous bugs and other issues.
